About Bagel

Hi! You can call me Bagelllll, or Zhang LaoShi ^^

My students often describe me as an energetic teacher who makes Chinese feel less intimidating and more enjoyable. I am currently living in Japan and learning Japanese myself, so I understand both the excitement and challenges of learning a new language. On your language-learning journey, you are not alone.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature and a Master's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from National Taiwan University. Also, I have 6 years teaching experience from students all around the world.

Most importantly, I hope we can create “wow” moment in our lessons—whether it's a useful expression, a cultural insight, or a new way of seeing the world through language.

About the lesson

-Language is a tool that opens the door to the world.
