About Shreya

I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 12 years of experience in teaching students from beginner to advanced levels. Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully guided more than 150 students towards achieving their English language goals for education, career, and personal communication. My teaching approach focuses on personalised instruction. I understand that each learner has a different pace and learning style. Therefore, I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs, ensuring that every student receives the attention and guidance they deserve. I emphasise building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also focusing on speaking confidence and practical usage. My lessons include structured practice, interactive activities, and real-world communication tasks. One of my main strengths is my patience and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way. I encourage open communication and create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to speak and improve. With consistent dedication, adaptability, and passion for teaching, I aim to make English learning effective, enjoyable, and rewarding for every student.

About the lesson

My ESL methodology is shaped by flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration to create a nurturing and effective learning environment. I believe that emotional comfort is just as important as academic progress when learning a new language. With a flexible lesson structure, I adapt content for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced speakers. Lessons include conversation practice, grammar application, pronunciation training, reading comprehension, and functional writing. Empathy helps me recognise student struggles and adjust the pace without pressure. Compassion allows me to motivate students through encouragement rather than fear of mistakes. I use clear communication to break down complex ideas into simple, practical steps. Collaboration helps students become active participants in setting goals and measuring progress. Besides ESL, I also offer training in spoken English, communication confidence, and basic workplace English.
