About Teagan
Bowing technique often feels like a puzzle that refuses to click into place. You might be struggling with a stiff wrist that prevents your vibrato from sounding truly resonant during a solo.
I address these issues by breaking down complex movements into smaller, manageable parts. We will focus on grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity boards to ensure you remain on track.
Weekly practice modules assigned with every class provide the structure necessary to reinforce what we covered. These sessions serve as a dedicated space to refine your intonation and tuning by ear. I look forward to navigating this musical journey alongside you as your dedicated guide.

Performance-focused students often find the path to mastery quite daunting. I have played the violin since I was 5, later adding guitar and voice to my repertoire during my conservatory years.
My training culminated in a BMus degree from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University. I maintain a methodical approach to teaching the RCM syllabus for all 3 of my primary instruments.
Dealing with returning learners and kids requires a sensitive ear and a curious mind. My background informs how I address the nuances of tone production and intonation. I prioritize technical clarity alongside deep musical understanding.
