About Pete
Hello. I’m a registered architect with over 35 years of experience and have been running my own practice since 2006. I specialize in sustainable, low-energy housing. I've been using SketchUp since being introduced to it at university in 2000. I love the ease of use and ability to make accurate models without a steep learning curve. I use SketchUp to produce everything from concept design to working drawings and everything in between.

I use a project-based learning approach. Starting with an introduction to the concepts of SketchUp, then I will explain the core tools with simple object modeling. I give verbal explanations and practical demonstrations. I allow students to practice until they feel comfortable in their own ability before moving on to building complexity and diving deep into what can be produced with the 3D modeling software.
