About Tucker
Architecture is often seen as an umbrella profession encompassing multiple disciplines. This has given me a physics, mathematics, art, history, and other sciences background. Additionally, I have a background in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suites, etc. I have typically taught at a university undergraduate and graduate degree level, but I am open to tutoring high school students. I am also willing to cater lesson plans to individuals based on their needs and goals.

Learning concepts is vital to problem-solving. Rather than memorization, I prefer to begin with a set of examples and then set my students loose on similar but different sets of problems to encourage the utilization of concepts they’ve learned on new problems.
I believe people can think for themselves when encouraged. I am also a firm believer in the power of autonomy.
I can and will lecture if desired, but I prefer lecturing as a dialogue with periodic check-ins for questions and to explore the subject matter.

I am happy to travel but for any travel distance greater than 20 minutes, there shall be a charge based on an hourly fee. For example, if my fee is $20/hr, 30 minutes of travel will be charged as $10.
