About John Stephin
I am a registered electrical engineer, a math enthusiast ever since my elementary days up until now. I am capable of teaching Elementary Math, Algebra, Number Systems, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I can speak English and communicate well. I am flexible and have the biggest bag of patience for my students. Apart from all of that I actively listen to my students. My past experiences and educational background are all attached to my resume.

I basically will follow a structured framework, the conventional way, as had been thought by my previous teachers back then. The very first thing is to launch. This is where the students will be able to activate their prior knowledge via connecting the current topic to yesterday's lesson. This is also where they will know what is the significance of the topic. The second thing is allowing the students to explore. By this time, they will be introduced to new definitions and new formulas via visual aids or slides. They will be given a few math problem examples and how they will be solved. Afterwards, it will be their turn either by group or by individual. The last thing is the generalization. This is where I will be asking for the class regarding their key takeaways of the day.
