About Francesca

I am a registered LAMDA teacher, listed on the official LAMDA directory, with over ten years’ experience teaching speech and drama in schools and private settings. In 2025, sixteen of my pupils took LAMDA exams, achieving an 88% distinction rate.

I currently teach for Italia Conti as a LAMDA tutor and have worked extensively with Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch and EM Forster Theatre, where I have produced and directed youth theatre shows. For two years I was Director in Residence at Tonbridge School, teaching GCSE and A Level Drama alongside co-curricular Drama.

My professional acting training was at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and I have performed for the BBC and at leading venues including Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal and Birmingham Rep.

I hold a valid Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training. Safeguarding is central to my practice: for home lessons, a parent or guardian should be present in the next room for the first two sessions at minimum.

About the lesson

My lessons are engaging, supportive and fun. I adapt each class to suit the individual student, choosing material that plays to their strengths while meeting the assessment points set out by LAMDA. I help students develop good exam habits, ensuring rehearsals are timed around their academic schedules.

I am passionate about inclusive learning. With a background in Cognitive Neuroscience (MSc, Distinction), I celebrate neurodiversity and have experience teaching students with dyslexia, ADHD and autism.

Whether preparing for exams, building confidence in performance, or simply developing a love for drama, I create a safe and inspiring space for every student to thrive.
