About Jayla
I have experience in the profession and have hopes in the future to become a clinical instructor. I have a background in tutoring: I tutored organic chemistry and anatomy & physiology while in college, helping my students achieve a B or higher in the class. I also have experience being a mentor and track coach at the high school level (while working as a nurse) where I learned I could apply the nursing process as a track coach to individualize workouts to the athletes’ needs, and help my athletes achieve their goals.

Lessons would be fun and interactive. Anatomy is based on memory and there are many fun ways to learn anatomy so it sticks! Physiology can be taught in multiple ways as well! Each lesson, students will identify topics they wish to focus on to better their understanding. Lessons can include studying or reviewing for an exam, test or quiz. We may also start note-taking on future topics listed on the student’s syllabus if the student wishes to do so!
