About Claire
I started learning the piano at age 7 and the violin at age 9. I achieved Grade 8 in Violin, Piano and Viola. I have played concerts all over Europe both in orchestras and have also sung in choirs. After 20 years of teaching I am still passionate about music and teaching music and hope to pass this on to all my students!

Hello - I'm Claire and I have been teaching Piano and Violin for 20 years from young beginners and adult learners all the way through to ABRSM grade 8! I hold a BMus and MMus degree and studied at King's College London and the Royal Academy of Music. I hold lessons at my home in Reigate and currently have availability for two new students. Lessons are usually 30 minutes long and cost £20 per lesson (paid for in batches of 10). I have particular expertise in teaching kids and beginners and guiding them through their exams, helping them to foster a love and appreciation for music that will carry them through life. I also teach adult learners and am happy to structure lessons either just for the joy of learning to play, or with an aim to attain a certain Grade.
