About Deborah
My very personal path in search of deeper knowledge and balance led me through autogenic training, yoga and meditation. I have been practicing Reiki since 2018. I was initiated in Reiki Level I & II by Reiki Master Marina Frey and my Reiki Master Mark Knight in Thailand and Indonesia. In addition, I am studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and Mythology, inspired by my doctor and teacher Harald Pfeffer-Cordes (Germany) and the teachers Prof. Dr. Heiner Frühauf (USA) and Dr. Med. Dr. Georg Weidinger (Austria).

I work with the original Usui Reiki method. Reiki is an alternative energy therapy in which the hands are placed directly on the body. The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee) is made up of two Japanese words - Rei, which means universal mind or the higher power, and Ki, which means life energy. Reiki healing is useful for increasing this life energy. Reiki healing treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit and produces many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Although it is viewed as a therapy in its own right, Reiki healing can also be combined with other energy healing / alternative therapies or with conventional medical treatments. A typical Reiki healing meditation session lasts between 30 and 90 minutes. Reiki is non-invasive and the client is usually in a sitting or lying position and is fully clothed. With the intention of using the Reiki symbols, the Reiki practitioner helps direct the flow of energy. Distant Reiki healing is also available. It is the power of the mind that heals the body, and time and space are not an obstacle to a Reiki master. People can feel a deep sense of relaxation afterwards. They sometimes report feelings of warmth or cold, tingling, drowsiness, and refreshment.
