About Sierra

I’m a French tutor with over four years of experience and a Master of Arts in French Language and Literature, with a focus on Francophone cultures. I love working with complete beginners and helping them discover that French doesn’t have to be intimidating; it can actually be fun! My teaching style is patient, light-hearted, and full of encouragement. I specialise in teaching French for creative hobbies and leisure activities like knitting, gardening, painting, and more. We use project-based learning, simple narratives, and visual aids to make grammar and vocabulary feel natural and engaging. We’ll talk about using digital services, reading user guides, and asking for tech support—all in French. I break down complex tech terms into simple parts, so you can remember and use them easily. Lessons are designed to build both speed and accuracy. You’ll practice how to ask questions, explain problems, and understand instructions clearly. We’ll use real-life scenarios like setting up Wi-Fi or describing a glitch in an app.
