About Francis
Having taught university level biochemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry, physics and math, and A-level math, chemistry and physics for over seven years, I am able to engage with students of various academic levels. While in university I studied Biology, Psychology, Pre-medicine and Drama. With my exposure to acting and particularly embodying various characters, I am able to provide a uniquely creative approach to my teaching as well.
Whether you're enthusiastic about a topic, bored by it or taking a class to fulfill your degree, my goal is to make sure you can grasp the concepts with ease, confidently and at your own pace. I am available for both online and face-to-face lessons.

Growing up I struggled to study since most of my teachers believed in memorization as the only technique to acquire knowledge. My frustration with this learning style, coupled with my passion to succeed, enabled me to look out for creative ways to solve complex problems throughout college and university. Therefore over the past seven years, I have developed personalized Math, Chemistry and Physics lessons to learners between the ages of 10 to 35 , empowering them to best understand scientific problems. I start every topic finding out what the student's interest level and background knowledge is. With this strategy, I have found it useful to ease students to new concepts using scenarios from their personal interests, hobbies and previous knowledge.
