About Ferreri
As a Saxophone tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, I have worked with around 150 students and helped them grow from beginners into confident performers. Teaching music is not just my profession but my passion.
I focus on strong fundamentals, including proper posture, breath control, embouchure, finger technique, articulation, tone quality, and rhythm development. I believe that clear communication and understanding each student’s learning pace are key to success. I adapt my teaching style depending on whether a student learns better through listening, reading, or hands-on practice.
My lessons also include music theory, ear training, scales, sight-reading, improvisation, articulation exercises, and performance techniques. I often share practical examples and case studies from famous saxophone performances to inspire students. I encourage regular practice habits and provide constructive feedback to help students improve steadily.
My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to develop their saxophone skills every day.

I follow a progressive and practical methodology while teaching Saxophone, based on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I start with breathing exercises and long tones to build a controlled, rich sound.
As students advance, I introduce scales, arpeggios, articulation patterns, rhythm exercises, and expressive musical pieces. I clearly explain how each exercise supports technical development and musical understanding.
Weekly structured goals maintain accountability and ensure steady progress. I monitor performance carefully and provide honest guidance. Integrity guides my teaching, ensuring patience, dedication, and professionalism.
In addition to Saxophone, I teach Music Theory, Jazz fundamentals, Ensemble skills, and Stage Performance preparation.
