About Lior
I am a passionate saxophone tutor with more than 12 years of experience teaching college students. I believe music education should be motivating, structured, and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on strong fundamentals, creative learning, and long-term musical growth.
Lessons include tone building, breathing exercises, finger coordination, rhythm control, and expressive performance. I help students understand not just how to play, but why certain techniques matter. Improvisation is included to build creativity, confidence, and musical awareness.
I use real-life music examples to explain concepts clearly and keep lessons interesting. I also apply modern teaching methods such as recording feedback, play-along practice, and goal-based lesson planning. Music theory, ear training, and sight-reading are taught alongside saxophone playing.
My lessons are calm, supportive, and well-structured. Whether your goal is performance or personal enjoyment, I help you progress with clarity and encouragement.

My Saxophone teaching style combines structured learning, creativity, and mentorship. I believe music education should be clear, motivating, and effective. Lessons focus on developing proper breathing, tone control, embouchure stability, finger coordination, articulation, rhythm accuracy, and reading music.
Creativity is encouraged through sound exploration, improvisation practice, and learning songs that match the student’s interests. I guide students as a mentor, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence. I also support students in developing good practice habits and musical discipline.
Critical thinking is developed by teaching students how to analyse music, understand rhythm and scales, and improve through careful listening. Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines, regular evaluations, and progress discussions. Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Rhythm Training, and Ear Development to support musical growth.
