About Harrison
I am a dedicated Trumpet tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, helping school and college students build musical skills through enjoyable and structured lessons. My passion for education encourages me to create an environment where every student feels confident to learn and grow.
My teaching covers breathing control, posture, embouchure, tone development, articulation, rhythm, scales, music reading, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. Lessons are personalized so students receive the guidance they need to achieve their goals.
One of the most rewarding moments in my career has been seeing students develop from beginners into confident musicians who enjoy performing. Their success reminds me that patience and consistent encouragement make a lasting difference.
I encourage students to develop good practice habits, stay motivated, and approach every challenge with confidence. Every achievement is celebrated because each step brings students closer to success.
Teaching allows me to inspire students while sharing my love for music. My goal is to help every learner become a confident trumpet player and develop skills that will support them throughout life.

My teaching methodology is centered on helping students enjoy every stage of learning the trumpet. I create lessons that are practical, engaging, and personalized so students can learn comfortably while making steady progress. Every lesson encourages confidence, discipline, and musical growth.
Motivation is a key part of my teaching philosophy. I encourage students to stay positive, set achievable goals, and celebrate every improvement. This keeps learning enjoyable and builds long-term confidence.
Communication ensures that students understand every lesson clearly. I explain techniques in simple English, demonstrate each exercise carefully, and encourage open conversations throughout the learning process.
Integrity shapes the way I teach. I provide honest feedback, treat every student fairly, and encourage responsibility, respect, and consistent practice habits.
Creativity makes each lesson exciting. I combine breathing techniques, tone-building exercises, rhythm practice, articulation drills, improvisation, listening activities, and performance preparation to develop complete musical skills.
Besides trumpet, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm development, ensemble performance, beginner composition, music appreciation, and concert preparation. My aim is to help students become skilled, creative, and confident musicians who continue enjoying music throughout their lives.
