About Alfred
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 16+ years of professional teaching experience and a record of teaching around 150 students successfully. I work with learners of all ages and skill levels and focus on building both technical skill and musical confidence.
My teaching approach is personalized and supportive. I assess each student’s strengths and challenges and adjust lessons to meet their individual needs. I create a positive atmosphere that encourages consistent practice and progress.
Lessons focus on developing strong fundamentals such as embouchure, breath control, tone clarity, posture, finger accuracy, and rhythm. As students progress, I introduce expressive elements like dynamics, phrasing, and improvisation.
Along with saxophone training, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening skills to develop well-rounded musicianship. My goal is to help students grow musically while enjoying every stage of learning.

My Saxophone teaching style emphasizes strong fundamentals, disciplined practice, and expressive musicality through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I guide students step-by-step in developing steady airflow, controlled embouchure, precise fingering, and consistent tone production. Lessons include scales, arpeggios, articulation exercises, rhythm drills, and expressive performance pieces.
Accountability is maintained through structured practice routines and weekly progress tracking. I provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement. Integrity ensures students develop proper technique and lasting musical habits.
Besides Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Improvisation to strengthen overall musicianship.
