About Sydney
With 20 years of experience in teaching flute, I have helped school and college students develop their musical abilities through patience, encouragement, and consistent practice. I believe every student has unique potential, and my responsibility is to help them discover it.
My lessons are interactive and focus on breathing techniques, posture, scales, rhythm, finger coordination, tone quality, and expressive playing. I celebrate every achievement because every step forward is important.
Seeing students grow from beginners into confident performers has been one of the greatest rewards of my career. Along with flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and beginner music education.
I always create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and enjoying their musical journey.

My flute lessons are designed to make music learning simple, enjoyable, and effective. I teach using Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity because I believe these qualities help students learn with confidence and enthusiasm.
Each lesson is planned according to the student's level and goals. Students begin with breathing exercises, posture, rhythm, finger coordination, and note reading before progressing to scales, articulation, musical expression, advanced techniques, and stage performance.
Motivation helps students stay focused and enjoy regular practice. Communication is always clear and interactive, allowing students to understand concepts through demonstrations and practical exercises. Integrity helps me build trust by treating every student with patience, respect, and honesty.
Creativity keeps lessons fresh through duet playing, favorite songs, rhythm games, ear training, improvisation, and listening activities. Besides flute, I teach recorder, music theory, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm practice, and music appreciation to help students become complete musicians.
