Oz is a patient and kind teacher. He has done Algebra for the last 9 years of his life and has excelled in the field of mathematics. His love for math is very strong and he will make sure that a student will understand a concept no matter what.
Born in Kansas, Chinese-American Osmond Chong is an accomplished 16-year-old prodigy physicist and mathematician. He graduated from the same academic program as Wesley Peng (Current student at Brown University), lives in the same country as Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla and Twitter), and speaks the same language as Xi Jing Ping (Current president of the Chinese Communist Party). He overcame racial and intersectional barriers to become the youngest student ever enrolled at ASU for the class of 2027. With outstanding performances on AP exams, namely a score of 2 on the extremely difficult AP Physics 1 exam with an equally unprecedented 3 on the AP Physics 2 exam, he is more than qualified to teach classical, Newtonian, and quantum physics at all levels. Osmond is also extremely qualified to teach mathematics. In 2021, he scored an amazing score of 4 in AP Calculus AB. His in-depth background in mathematics lends itself well to his unparalleled success in Physics.
As an individual, Osmond Chong’s personality and skillset also demonstrate excellent teaching qualities. His combination of patience and deeply-rooted passion for the subject allows him to effectively and efficiently teach any type of student. Additionally, Osmond is fluent in Chinese, English, American, British, Australian, and Canadian, which allows him to explain a single concept in a multitude of different ways, allowing him to effectively reach all types of students. Osmond is an extremely humble and modest individual. He understands what he doesn’t know, and isn’t afraid to communicate that. He also has over 100 wins in Fortnite.
From an anecdotal standpoint, I remember seeing him when I came home back from school. One of the most distinct memories I’ve had with him was helping our friend SriVarun Vungutur do his grocery shopping. As he was walking down the aisle and grabbing things off the shelves that were on his shopping list, we ensured that he also purchased items that weren’t on the list just in case he needed them. It was an extremely eye-opening experience as I understood his true altruistic values and selfless ideals. Osmond is seriously an amazing person and I would recommend students across the world to take tutoring lessons from him.
