I reached out for assistance with a personal project, and we've been working on wrangling data to prepare it for advanced regression analysis using Stata. His instruction has filled in the knowledge gaps I had left over from my econometrics courses, and it has been a great experience so far.

Syed is very knowledgeable about econometrics.
He started the lesson by explaining very clearly the concept of econometrics, and then dived deeper into the regression models. I have learned the materials but was never able to thoroughly understand them, but with his help, I'm confident interpreting the regression tables and their economic meanings. He threads all relevant concepts together, and they are finally connected and making sense. I highly recommend Syed even if you have a college degree in econometrics and want to deepen your understanding.

Syed did a great job at explaining regression modeling: how to specify a model, how to interpret the model, and how to further consolidate it. He is thoughtful, skilled at teaching and is knowledgeable.

Proficient and dependable! Syed is an outstanding researcher as well as an excellent mentor with lots of precision and patience in his coaching and in providing the feedback. I found him to be an extremely professional person with quality knowledge, immense proficiency in research skills and untiring nature. From adjusting my original research notions into well-structured research hypothesis, to structuring research design and in choosing quantitative tools to suit research needs, he has been superb.
