I teach students at the middle school and high school level and my goal is to make sure they have the skills to solve almost any problem they face. My teaching method is patient and understanding because I genuinely want you to feel like you can handle the challenges you face.

Devised best management practices for the commercial production of approximately 4,000 acres of Giant Miscanthus in the Midwest, USA. 2009 – 2011: Independent Consultant, biomass production, specializing in the propagation and establishment of perennial grasses, specifically Giant Miscanthus.
Consulted for industry leaders in biomass production. Created agronomic guides for managing energy crops and presented to farming organizations across the Midwest. Prepared the Environmental Assessment of Giant Miscanthus which led to $14.6 million in federal funding for the development of renewable energy under the Biomass Crop Assistance Program.
