About Zainab
I am a graduate student and researcher. I have been tutoring students for over 7 years in the basic sciences, math, and English, I helping them boost their grades and get a better grasp of concepts. I have a passion for teaching and love helping students reach their goals and feel confidant in their learning. Although I work, teaching is one of my passions which is why I do it.

My teaching approach is proactive and focuses on helping students improve their understanding of concepts so they feel confidant in their learning. I create personalized lesson plans with a focus on each student's unique goals, learning styles, and areas of difficulty they have expressed. I take a largely interactive approach, use practice questions, visuals, and evidence based teaching strategies. I teach at a pace that is customized for the student, based on their understanding of concepts. I help students prepare for exams, work on assignments, essays, and editing their work.
