About Lucia
With 10 years of flute teaching experience, I have taught High School, College, and adult students, totalling around 150-200 learners. I focus on creating lessons that are both structured and enjoyable, helping students develop technical mastery, musical creativity, and confidence in performance.
A milestone I cherish was mentoring a group of students for a local recital, watching them perform together and support one another on stage. Experiences like these show me the power of music to inspire and unite. I tailor my teaching to each student, ensuring lessons are interactive, motivating, and designed to nurture both skill and passion. My mission is to guide every student towards reaching their full potential on the flute and enjoying every step of their musical journey.

My flute teaching methodology is designed to make learning engaging, practical, and personalised. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand musical concepts and apply them in performance. I focus on motivation, inspiring students to stay confident, curious, and enthusiastic throughout their learning journey.
I emphasise problem-solving, guiding students to overcome challenges in technique, rhythm, and musical expression, helping them build independence and skill. Integrity is central to my teaching, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect for music. I also maintain flexibility, adjusting lessons according to each student’s pace, abilities, and goals.
In addition to flute, I teach related subjects like music theory and fundamentals to provide a complete foundation. My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, effective, and meaningful, helping students grow creatively, technically, and personally.
