About Emrys
With more than 5 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Nanophysics, I specialize in combining traditional physics tutoring with computational problem solving. Physics becomes far more powerful when theory meets computation. My lessons are designed around that idea.
Students learn how to use numerical methods and Python programming to explore physical systems. We work on simulations, data analysis tasks, and visualization exercises. Practical projects are at the heart of my teaching approach. They help students transform mathematical concepts into working computational models.
I often work with university students and researchers who want to enhance their programming skills for scientific work. Many need help integrating computational tools into their studies. I guide them through the process with clear explanations and structured exercises. Together we build both knowledge and confidence in modern physics practice.

My teaching philosophy focuses on making physics understandable while preparing students for top results in AP Physics exams. Lessons begin with concept explanations in topics like motion, forces, energy, waves, and electricity. These ideas are connected with the mathematics used in physics.
Students learn how to break complex problems into manageable steps. Logical thinking is encouraged in every lesson.
Practice is very important. I provide targeted drills, guided exercises, and timed practice tests. This helps students improve accuracy and problem-solving speed.
We also work on exam strategies and reviewing common mistakes. With strong preparation and practice, students approach exams with confidence.
