About Hollis
Four years of applied math at Marshall Space Center in Alabama during college and three years as Aerospace Engineer following college (BS in Math and Physics). Left NASA for the computer industry, and developed operating systems before there was Windows. Sold my software company for a few million and retired to teach school and work with teens for fun. I donate my salary to a super college student.

My degree is in Math and Physics. I teach the basic theories in an applied way. For example: Prove that the bridge will not fall by computing the change in cable length (hypotenuse). Or, given a building 10x10x10 with a 100 foot tower in the center top. The tower breaks and lands with the edge against the building and the end on the ground. How long is the portion, X, still standing, if the fallen portion is 100 - X? ... Sketches available upon request.
