I am a retired biologist, with a degree in Secondary Education. I taught science in a public school for one year. I have additional teaching experience on a volunteer basis at my church. I am a father of four and a grandfather of five.

My teaching approach is to determine what works best for each student and use that technique. Generally I find out what each student's class assignments are, and help them complete those assignments. Some students learn best from a concrete approach, while others are more verbal. I use the approach that is tailored to each student.
