About Ken
Ph.D., now Professor Emeritus with 40 yr career as teacher and biomedical scientist. I have trained fourteen Ph.D. students and 13 postdoctoral fellows in my laboratory. Many of these required tutoring in English and in writing. With the help of these students, we have published 161 research papers and taught numerous graduate and medical students in the classroom.

In addition to providing basic background knowledge in a particular discipline, I provide information about how these biological/physiological mechanism support health or cause disease. I provide numerous examples of biochemical/pathological mechanisms that lead to or play a role in disease or drug-induced recovery. Verbal exchange with students that include question and answer discussion provide the basis of understanding underlying mechanisms of disease and medical intervention.
