About Caroline
Patient observation defines my studio approach where precision meets genuine musicality. A student sits at the bench struggling with a complex phrase until the tension finally dissolves under my guidance. I carry a Juilliard lineage into our sessions to ensure technical clarity remains constant.

Sight reading often feels like deciphering an alien language until the underlying patterns of rhythm and timing reveal their hidden logic to the player. During these 10 minutes of initial assessment we examine your current struggles with memorisation techniques or jazz improvisation to build a solid foundation.
Classical repertoire becomes accessible when you understand how to control dynamics and expression through weight distribution rather than force. We balance rigorous grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity with pieces that resonate with your personal taste. I find great joy in helping you connect with the music in a way that feels authentic to your own artistic voice.
