Course setup

I have been teaching these courses and medicine/surgery for over 20 years.
I have taught single students in a formal tutoring fashion, and I have taught post-doctorate students numbering 40+ in a formal lecture fashion.
A story for you: A student could not move on at my medical school with less than a 'C' overall average. In my second year, the school approached me and asked if I would be willing to tutor, for the entire second year, this one student, who had less than a 'C' average. No student had ever been able to accomplish moving onward in this situation. It was a challenge I jumped at.
Succinctly, he was successful. He discovered how to learn during our lessons, and he went on to be a doctor.
I am informal in my discussions, but follow proven methods for moving ahead academically.
