About Laurie
I love reading and writing and teaching young learners . My experience in this profession is over 2 decades and I have taught children from toddlers, preschoolers, and early learners with special needs up to Grade 3. My speciality is in reading, reading readiness skills and language development. I have degrees in Early Childhood Special Education and in English Literature. I have published poetry and short essays and fiction. I am a retired teacher.

I have 23 years teaching early learners with special needs. I have a degree in Early Intervention and in English. My experience includes teaching reading and reading readiness skills from the Kindergarten to the Third Grade levels. I have taught children with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. My years of teaching include working in the area of pre-academics and language development with 3 to 5 year old children with a variety of special needs.
