About Sharon
This is my first time giving private tutoring lessons. I taught third grade for 18 years. My students achieved a high success on the state mandated test in Reading and Math. I was able to bring students from first grade reading level, in some cases, to passing the state test. I taught ESL students language skills necessary to exit out of the ESL program.

I believe every child can learn with patience and time. I have a high success rate among students on the end of the year state mandated test. I received a Master's Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University in 2008. I am certified in Gifted and Talented and ESL. After 20 years in education, I retired in 2009.
