If the student is not interested, I do not want to waste everyone's time and money. Most times, calculators will not be used. One cannot learn the rules of mathematics using a calculator.

I use the tried and true methods of teaching. Not all students learn the same way. I will tailor the tutoring to the student's needs. Typically, I will assess the student's needs and develop methods that will most effectively help the student master the subject. "Educators" don't like my methods. Students do.
