About Chris
After receiving my Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tennessee, I earned a Masters degree in the same from Oregon State University. As part of my work at OSU, I taught and tutored undergraduate classes. After school, I worked in the corporate world in the engineering field for 27 years. After retiring, I followed my passion for helping students be successful in school and am now an educational assistant in our school district.
I have lived in Corvallis for 30 years, raising my family here, and am active in the community. I look forward to working with you to meet your goals.

I have a passion for helping students be successful in school and in math, in particular. Let me know what subject and level you are working on and I'll let you know how I can help.
I prefer to work face to face at a place of your choosing in the local area. I feel that in-person meetings work best for helping to work through problems and concepts. I use sketches and diagrams to help explain concepts. I prefer to see what kind of problems you would like to work on in advance so that I can prepare to help make the best use of your time.
I can tutor from the middle school to college level math. I can also tutor physics. If I don't feel comfortable with a subject area, I will let you know so to not waste your time.
