About Ruth
I was an engineer for 30 years. I am not retired. I am punctual, responsible, hardworking, patient, honest and kind. I enjoy teaching math and love it when the student really understands the concept and isn't just trying to apply a formula.

I help students learn material by understanding the concepts rather than by rote memorization. We do lots of practice problems so the concept becomes well solidified. I have a PhD in Physics and have tutored math at the junior high and high school level.
