About Robert
I have Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Finance. While in my Master's of Engineering program I was a teaching assistant where I would prepare lesson plans, prepare laboratory classes, hold breakout sessions with college students.

As a retired Financial Advisor I assisted people with their investment decisions. I have experience with all aspects of financial planning. I want to help people of all ages learn and understand the financial environment we all live in.
A typical lesson will pick a financial topic and explore the ins and outs of what it is, how to use it.
Examples:
- Understanding personal credit. How it works. How to use it for your benefit. What to be aware of so you don't fall into a credit trap. Differences between credit cards and buy now-pay later plans.
- Real Estate - Buying a home. What are the different kinds of mortgages. Additional costs of home ownership. Advantages of owning or renting.
- Basic stock market and investing education. What are the different kinds of investment products. Stocks, ETFs, Mutual Funds, Bonds and Bond Funds, Crypto (note I do not advise students what to invest in). What are IRAs? How do they work and how to take advantage of them.
