About Ion

Master in electrical engineering, but when my daughter was born I needed more time to spend with my family so I got the BEd and switched careers. I spent the next 20+ years teaching high school. I was better than I expected...

About the lesson

The basic idea behind my career was to enable students to become independent learners. A number of gold medals at Skill Canada might suggest I succeeded. In tutoring math the most important part, in my experience, is diagnosing and addressing the areas that were missed in the previous years.

Perfect! Ion is very knowledgeable, patient, and nonintimidating. It has been many years since I have practiced fundamental algebra and he does not make me feel inadequate or self-conscious. Despite my initial apprehension and insecurities, he makes me feel comfortable with my learning.
