About Patrick
I taught school for 21 years to students in grades 6-12. I have also volunteered with adult education and helped college students write papers. I have also given safety classes for adult workers in industrial settings on the Mississippi River.

I enjoy working with all ages. I like solving learning problems, trying to figure out why a student cannot grasp a concept. Usually it is lack of basics that cause problems. So, I'll often ask a students a series of questions until I find the sticking point, for example, in geography, knowing that the top of a map is always north, and that right is east.
