About Mary Jo
I have taught in Catholic schools, middle schools, high school, Independent Study high school and was a home school teacher. I am a retired widow, so I have the time to determine what the student needs and how to deliver the information. I have lived in Boulder for 4 years. I taught math and was a high school guidance counselor in California. I am excited to teach math again on a one-to-one basis.

Algebra and Geometry are my strong suits. I will communicate with your student's teacher to help understand where the needs are for your student. I will look at tests and homework assignments to understand where and why mistakes were made. I will be able to determine if remediation is necessary for your student's success. I can come to your house or meet somewhere convenient. I am available on weekends if that works best for you.
I also can help your student get ready for the ACT or SAT tests.
