About Pam
I was a successful teacher. My students test scores were at the top of our school district. I was awarded teacher of the year twice during my 30 years of service.
I had a great rapport with students and parents. I was a fun and kind teacher. My students really enjoyed my class.
I truly believe all children can learn. They just need a patient, caring educator to help them.

My lessons will include hands on learning using counters and/or other teaching objects (beads, m&m’s, skittles, blocks, and similar manipulatives) drawing, and flash cards to provide tactile learning experiences.
I taught math, science and reading to kindergarten students and 1st through 6th graders.
I begin by finding the skill(s) the student is having trouble with and start there. I build on previously learned skills to make the transition to the next skill level more successful. Students frustrate quickly when they do not understand. I recognize frustration and remove the student from the situation and do a fun learning game or allow them to take a short break before reteaching the skill. I often drop back on the difficulty level until the student is successful and then move on.
