About Judy
I have recently retired from medicine after working twenty years in the field. In my past, I was a certified teacher in the Detroit Public School System, but I also recently worked as a teacher, associate and adjunctive professor at several colleges and universities. Each of these experiences taught me the value of student engagement, a sense of cooperative sharing of knowledge. I taught my students, but I also learned from them.

My teaching method is conversational, with maximum student participation. A typical lesson plan includes a review of what went before, new material, and a summation of what we learned that day. My objective is to help students understand every concept taught so that they can use this knowledge as a building block for future learning. My lessons can be used for elementary school, middle school, high school and even college students.
