About Kianna
I'm a retired particle accelerator engineer with significant experience in tutoring and working with neurodiversity. All people are neurodiverse and learning to communicate across that diversity is a joy. I myself am neurodivergent and personally familiar with the obstacles and difficulties present in current learning systems. My singular hope is to help others reach their goals.
Apart from teaching and tutoring, I work at a homeless shelter and play the piano.

About the lesson

- Many of my students are neurodivergent (autism, ADHD, other) or have developmental disabilities. We learn to focus on discovering our latent abilities and enhancing them.
- Lessons are tailored to each student's strengths and main learning methods. We start with where the student is at.
- Lesson plans vary by subject but the core techniques are exploration of concepts and demonstration of problem solving methods with feedback.
- I can teach or guide in any undergraduate subject from english composition to thermodynamics and in any level of mastery from elementary fractions through tensor calculus.
- I am also available for single lesson cram sessions.
- I do not charge cancellation fees. If you can't make it, that's OK.
