About Myra
I started my career as a high school math teacher in the public schools. I completed my master's degree in physics and mathematics education. I taught entry-level courses in physics at the local university full-time for 26 years and another 20 years part-time. I enjoy doing experiments and show demonstrations of physical principles.

About the lesson

I determine where the student is in the knowledge of the subject and start there to bring them up to speed. I teach them the fundamentals of the physical quantities and the units. I teach the student to recognize the physical quantities in a problem and then determine the correct equation or equations to use to find the solution to the problem.
Having taught math and physics for 50-years I have had a wealth of experience to help beginning students in math and physics. I can be of great help to high school and beginning college students.
