About Manish
My first degree was in Applied Biology (Molecular Biology. I have worked in hospitals and private laboratories as a medical technician. After spending 10 years at home as a house-husband, I decided to train for a PGCE in Primary Education. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with QTS with seven years teaching experience. Since 2013, I have been employed as a University Senior Lecturer in Mathematics (and computing) helping training teachers learn primary mathematics and computing. I have experience teaching maths to children in Primary and Secondary School with SEN experience.

I utilise a friendly and supportive approach to teaching maths, with or without resources based around the needs of the individual child. My approach is always to first see what the child can do, then assess any areas for development and then to start to stretch the child to begin to challenge and stretch their capabilities.
