About Nicolaas
A semi-retired mechanical engineer who is caring, responsible, dedicated, and results-driven. Believed from a very young age that math needs to be understood and not memorized! Math and science have basic rules that must be followed. I find it very satisfying to teach and see how my students achieve their goals. I sincerely believe that learning is a privilege and a pleasure. It is my top priority that my students achieve results. My level of mathematics, physics, and engineering is very proficient.

Detailed lesson plan with goals. Math should be fun and enjoyable but it should not feel like a chore. I offer instruction with positive encouragement, and a built-in rewards system that keeps students motivated. When kids enjoy learning, they show up ready to learn more.
