About Sandra
I have 30 years experience in the classroom ranging from first through sixth grade. During those years, I tutored students privately in groups or singly. Tutoring was either in my home, student's home or a mutually selected place such as library. Students were able to raise reading levels a minimum of ne year.

I am a retired reading specialist. My degrees are a Bachelors in education , a
Masters in learning disabilities. Certified in Wilson Reading, Orton-Gillingham reading, SRA Direct Instructon and Project Read. All the methods involve Direct Instruction methodology and are applicable to students of all ages, even adults. I'm missing dealing with students. I was consultant for SRA direct instruction following my retirement from public schools
