About Leslie
I am a registered nurse that worked most of my life in critical care. I have precepted nurses straight out of school. One of my patients donated $20,000 in my name to the hospital in appreciation of my skill and love for their mother. I have 4 children, one with special needs. I took the time to learn how to teach the methods most helpful to him. I did Hospice for approximately 6 years and earned the trust of the patient and families.

I believe children want to learn but because of all their failures they have very low self esteem. I find something good in them and build on that. I make learning fun and always make a big deal about any small accomplishments if they have earned it. I have been told over and over again I would be a great teacher. I tutored nursing students while in school going to them first to let them know I can help. My children are grown, my house is empty and it is now my turn to seek what satisfies me the most. I graduated Suma Com Laude from Southern Connecticut State College with a GPA of 3.97.
