About Martha
My current certifications are Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Handicap, and PreK 3 - 3rd Grade. I have been teaching since the late 70's, and I have had great success in helping students. My greatest joy comes from seeing "the light come on" in their eyes when they grasp a skill we have been working on.

I base my teaching method on informal testing to determine skill level of my students. I also talk to parents to find out their goals for their children. I believe that learning can and should be fun, and I use a lot of teacher made manipulatives.
