I have two college degrees and 43 years teaching experience, including the following subjects: Louisiana History, World History, United States History, Civics, Free Enterprise, World Geography, World Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, Novels, American Literature, and Creative Writing. I have taught in middle school, junior high, and high school, both public and private.

I don't lecture the whole hour because of my throat. Too many people have threatened to cut it. I want to read and edit your essays, since I have much experience scoring AP exams. I aim to help you improve your clarity, organization, and ability to back up your main ideas with evidence. Come to each session with examples of your writing and a willingness to work to make them better.
