About Leslie
With an early interest in education, I started working with children in a preschool setting while still in high school. As my skills in the educational field progressed; I was provided opportunities to work in homeless and domestic violence programs. I transitioned into developing programs and training early childhood teachers prior to my retirement. In the decade, I have worked as a nanny and home health provider in private homes.

I have experienced teaching in many classroom settings; from teaching/directing preschools with children age birth to 5 years to presenting noncredit continuing education for adults. My interest in the field of education started at a young age. I had strong, very positive role models and endeavor to pay forward those opportunities I had.
My methodology style changes with the audience and learning environment. I find the FACILTATOR approach works best for me in most settings. In today's world, as an educator it does more service to aid all students to develop the critical thinking skills needed regarding subject matter, rather than lecture rote facts.
