About Julie
I am a retired teacher with 30 years of experience. I’ve taught elementary, middle, and high school students. I have a Love u B.S. in Interrelated Sped, grades k-12; Middle Grades certification, grades 4-8; a Masters degree in Instructional Technology, and a Specialist in Teaching and Curriculum, grades k-12. Since retiring, I have substitute taught at all 3 levels of public school and in a variety of classroom settings.

My teaching method really depends on the needs of the student. I try to teach in a style that helps the student to be as successful as possible. For example, I will use “hands on” methods with students that will benefit from that style, or I might use a methodical step-by-step style with other students. Much depends on the student (age and needs) and the subject being taught.
