Brian Shutter taught both of our children and they both count him as one of their favorite teachers. He was a positive, caring and patient teacher who fostered a can do attitude in his students. He was able to help students with having academic issues feel that they could do the work which is a big part of success. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a tutor.
Brian has taught 2 of my 3 children. He was a classroom teacher for one and gifted and talented teacher for the other. His patience and caring were second to none. He goes above and beyond to help students reach their highest potential, challenging and encouraging them. I would highly recommend Brian as a tutor to help your child achieve their best.
Rocky is great with kids! He is always teaching the young people in his plays asking questions about the period in history etc. He is committed to whatever he does. He really cares about kids. If my son or daughter need a tutor, I would call Rocky! I work with Rocky in concessions at the theater and appeared in one of his plays. He never humiliates a person by pointing out faults in front of others.
Brian has been a teacher for many years. He is respected by coworkers, parents, and students. He has a wonderful rapport with students of all grade levels. He is patient and will search for ways to help all students find success.
I worked with Mr. Shutter for many years! When our 5th grade students were asked who their favorite elementary teacher was, he got the most votes!!!
Brian Shutter is one of the most caring and respectful teachers I have ever known. He goes above and beyond to make sure his students have the knowledge they need to succeed!
My nephew was going through a difficult time at home. Mr Shutter's encouragement, kindness and guidance made a vast difference in this young man's life and for that we are eternally grateful.
He sees the unique gifts and learning abilities in each child and tailors his approach to their needs and skill level. I would highly recommend Mr Shutter to any parent looking for a caring, effective and creative tutor.I have known Brian since childhood and had the pleasure of working with him at Miller School. You will find that Brian is kind, patient, and compassionate as an individual. As an educator he is highly competent, experienced, creative and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this exceptional professional instructor.
Pick Brian!!! He was my teacher for 4th grade and I have known him my whole life! Gives all his time and energy to making sure you understand the subject and comes up with creative ways to get you to understand something you may not be grasping!
